Architecture, Reimagined in Paper
Original works by Vivasthu exploring form, structure, and space through paper
A Study in Structure, Material, and Space
Vivasthu creates architectural works that translate built form into paper - exploring structure, light, and material through precision and iteration.
Each piece is developed through a balance of hand exploration and fabrication, where paper becomes a medium for understanding space. This body of work is developed under The Paper Architect Hack™.
Not a model. Not a souvenir. A designed object.
Where It Began
The work began with paper - cutting, folding, and constructing forms by hand as a child.
What started as instinctive making evolved through training in art and architecture, and later through digital fabrication and material study.
Today, that early engagement continues as a focused practice - translating architecture into tactile, paper-based forms.
Rooted in a Deeper Understanding of Space
Vivasthu draws from Vaastu Shilpa Shastra - an ancient design system that understands space, form, and energy are interconnected.
This perspective informs the work subtly, shaping how structure, proportion, and experience are considered.
Rooted in principles of utility, aesthetics, and inner delight.
